Feature on Home (2026)
It has been three years since Grand Harvest sowed the seeds of their debut LP, Consummatum Est; judging by Home‘s album art, it is time to reap the souls of those who fell for the young band’s morose melodeath. Shades of Nightfell‘s sadboi OSDM can be heard in the intertwining tremolo riffs and steady clinks in preview track “Dawnwaster” while “Enter Azrael”‘s stately pace and symphonic elements nod to the Hellenic black metal sound. There’s a comforting simplicity in these arrangements that allows them to strike directly at our emotions, unimpeded by gaudy experimentation or listless, labyrinthine songwriting.
